GENERATE Camp by YM360
About
  • Hometown
    Chattanooga, TN

Curtis combines a passion for communication with a desire to see lives changed for Jesus Christ. His energetic stage presence, charismatic persona, and ability to connect with people of all ages, races, and backgrounds help him as he leads throughout the country at various camps, events, and conferences. He is perhaps best known for his deep empathy and contagious passion for the gospel, which defies barriers of age, ethnicity, and religion. Whether teaching, speaking or writing, Curtis provides a perspective on the gospel that is raw, accessible, and relevant.

His story contains a bunch of twists and turns that have shaped who he is today. It began when he was born and raised in New Jersey and took a beautiful turn when he started running with Jesus in college. It continues today with a focused sense of purpose: To invite people into the story of God, so they feel seen, known, and loved. CZ (what everyone calls Curtis) says, “I’m just a beggar trying to show other beggars where the bread is.”

He authored “Soul Rest: Reclaim Your Life. Return to Sabbath” that came from a season of deep learning and growing. It connects to his absolute belief that God’s desire for humanity is that we would find rest in His finished work.

CZ has served in various ministry and leadership roles over the last 15 years including church planting, pastoring and speaking on rest, the kingdom, and the beauty of the gospel. He is a graduate of Liberty University and today he serves on staff at Church of the City, one of the nation’s fastest-growing, multi-campus churches in Franklin, TN. Monique, and my two boys, Noah and Micah.
