Eckerd College is a private liberal arts college located on 188 acres in St. Petersburg, Florida, known for its distinctive educational approach and picturesque waterfront campus. The campus features modern academic buildings, residence halls, dining facilities, a library, recreational amenities, and outdoor spaces for students to learn, socialize, and relax.

Distances from Eckerd College:

  • Orlando, FL – 1.5 hours
  • Jacksonville, FL – 3.5 hours

  • Birmingham, AL – 9.5 hours

Sleeping and eating: Most dorms range from traditional rooms to apartment-style suites with incredible views of Boca Ciega Bay. Dorms have bathroom setups with either a private bath or a suite-style bath. (Remember, we assign housing based on the date deposits are received.) The newly renovated cafeteria, Cafe Bon Appetit, offers a variety of food options. At any given meal on any given day, the chefs try to provide a spread of at least three different proteins. They do their best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions or preferences. There are some constants, such as a cheeseburger from “Grill,” a slice of pizza from “Peel,” or a salad from “Graze”—but the rest of the fare is ever-changing.

Important Note: Housing priority is based on the date deposits are received. Register and make your deposits today for the best available placement.
