Based out of Dallas, Texas, Jared Wood is a worship leader and songwriter with a passion for the worship of believers everywhere to not only be expressed by the songs they sing but more by the way they live their lives. Jared served as the Minister of Student Worship at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas for six years where he had the opportunity to lead worship for 1,200 junior high and high school students every week. In addition to this, Jared has experience in leading in several varying worship venues throughout the church. In July of 2010, Jared followed the Lord’s call to step away from Prestonwood and begin traveling across the state and the country to lead young people in worship. Since then, Jared has led many in worship at events including Falls Creek Oklahoma, Student Leadership University’s Lift Tour, Celebrate Freedom in Dallas and Atlanta, and with us at GENERATE.
