Serving the Community.
You and your group will be ministering with one of our SERVE community partners for the week. Light construction, community outreach, backyard Bible clubs, and evangelism are just a few of the areas in which SERVE teams could take part.
Your students will be in villages (small group Bible studies) with students just from your church.
GENERATE Staff will work with you as the group leader to partner you with the best SERVE community partner in the area. Shortly after first registering for GENERATE, a staff member will send you a short survey asking about the areas of service that best fit your students. Then, in the months leading up to camp GENERATE will communicate to you which organization your church has been partnered with, what types of service your students will be a part of, and what supplies might be needed for the week. All SERVE churches will need to provide transportation to their assigned SERVE site, and they will need to bring enough coolers for boxed lunches for the group.

Responses from our SERVE Community Partners:
“I want to take this time to brag about the group you sent us. It was an odd week with us being in training and not having a host to meet them. I left flyers for them to pass out not giving much weight to how many of them would actually get into the hands of children/ parents. When I finally did meet up with the group I found that MANY of our regular members had already made connections with the students and workers of the Generate group. It was like our service to our members didn’t ever stop. Additionally, the flyers which were passed out to the residents yielded numerous phone calls and visits from parents wanting to enroll their children. This is quite amazing because I’ve had several volunteer groups pass out flyers that never brought ANY calls or visits.”
“The entire experience was superb! Each of the volunteers handled themselves with the highest level of character. And they respected our members and program details. I was impressed with the professionalism of everyone and the genuine connections made with the youth.”
